New Jersey to Delaware to Pennsylvania

Our day didn’t start quite as early this morning, but it was still early for Jaxon. He was still waking up while we ate breakfast.

We left Vineland, NJ and headed to Cape May to catch the ferry to Delaware. We were able to get our NJ sign picture . Jaxon was taking a nap in the car but Mark got him up to get his picture-he is still in his pajamas!

We quickly saw the Lighthouse at Cape May before catching the ferry. We took a few pictures outside on the ferry but it was so windy and cold that we didn’t stay outside too long.

We drove onto Delaware and stopped at a local place for lunch. Mark got a cheese-steak and I got a chicken cheese-steak. It was really good but the portions were huge. Jaxon had had enough of his car seat and wanted to be held. It was pretty amusing watching Mark try to eat while holding Jaxon. Good entertainment!!

After lunch we went to an art museum in Historic downtown Dover. Then we visited the Delaware State House and the area around the capitol building. The buildings and architecture were so unique.
