It was a long drive so Jaxon decided to help out but then he got a little fussy about being in his car seat so I helped calm him down the only way I knew how.
We got to Niagara Falls and Jaxon was very excited to be out of the car seat. We took a few pictures from the overlook areas before going on the Maid of the Mist boat tour.
The first tour we went on was the Maid of the Mist boat tour. It got us right up close to the waterfalls. It was windy and wet but fun. Jaxon did really well on the boat despite getting misted. The second adventure we went on was Cave of the Winds. It was a walking tour up steps that went near the waterfall. It was crazy being that close to the water but it was a lot of fun. Jaxon was so tired and getting a little fussy but a finger always helps out. Notice how in style we were in our sandals and rolled up pants.
After our we adventures we crossed the border into Canada to see the falls from the other side. You can see in the Maid of the Mist pictures why they call it Rainbow Bridge (the bridge that goes from NY to Canada.) We had to take a picture of Jaxon by the New York sign first.
We didn’t get back until really late. It was a long ride there and back but it was so fun and worth seeing the falls. Jaxon did really well most of the trip. He started to get fussy at one point and I told Mark that if I was stuck in a car seat for that many hours in a day I would throw a fit as well. Sweet boy did great!
Here is a picture that Mark took while in Canada. Jaxon has started this new spitting thing and buzzing his lips. It is pretty funny and we think he was doing it right as Mark took this picture.
Wow!! What a great trip!
