Friday we stopped by to say hi to my sweet cousin, Rhonda and her kiddos.
Jaxon liked looking at himself in the mirror.
He had fun at Coach's office!
And when we found him looking around and talking to himself on the floor (instead of taking a nap) Mark decided to help him go to sleep!
We went back out to my parent's house on Friday evening.
Jaxon enjoyed looking at the fish in their pond.
Mark showed Jaxon the swing set that he is not quite big enough to play on yet; but still went for a swing.
And then he helped Dede grill some chicken!
Saturday was spent being completely lazy. It was so nice to just sit around and not have anything that had to be done.
Jaxon watched some football with Dede and Tank, Bryson's dog.
And hung out with Uncle Bryson!
On Sunday the wind was blowing really hard (normal for Amarillo) and caused some allergy issues for Jaxon. He spent most of the day sleeping but we did get some cute pictures before church. Here is my favorite!
This morning we got up and packed up to come home. Before we left we took a couple more pictures.
This turtle is in my parent's back yard and I thought it would be fun to take a picture of Jaxon each time we visit and see how he grows.
Thanks Coach and Dede for such a lazy weekend! We'll be back to visit soon:).
Jaxon is a great traveler. He just goes with the flow. He really enjoys having his Wubba Nub with him in his carseat!

That sweet little smile looks just like his dads yet I see you in him too! What a sweet combination of two sweet people! What a great idea to use the turtle to "journal" his growth!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you all had fun with that growing boy of yours! It seems like he has changed SO much since we left for our trip. We'll definitely have to make up for all that missed time soon. ;)
ReplyDeleteI was going to say that I think the combination of you and Mark in Jaxon looks a bit like Nathan Gray! :) Especially in the plaid overalls grinning picture. :) teehee!
ReplyDeleteI've lost more hair than I realized! As a side note, Jaxon's rugged Rich-man good looks inspired me to add a pair of plaid overalls to my wardrobe. Hope you all are doing well and that our paths cross soon!!
