Fourth of July

We had a fun family day on the Fourth of July. We started out the day with a festive breakfast of waffles and fruit. 

After a few errands and a long nap by this little guy, we moved him into his big boy bed. He was SO excited that he played in his bed for about 30 minutes. We figured we would let him play now or he would be playing later:)!! That took up the majority of our day, but it was so fun watching his excitement.

We took this picture right before we left to go watch the fireworks! We were planning on putting him to sleep, but he took such a long, late nap that we knew he would be okay staying up.

We went up to husband's office again this year and were joined by a few of his coworkers, both of which brought cake. Jaxon loved the fireworks and squealed with delight!! He also really appreciated the ones who brought cake;). We had a great view of the fireworks from the 23rd floor. The cool air and no bugs were some of the best parts. It was a fun day and we really enjoyed being together!!
