We had a wonderful Easter and due to some great rain showers we got to extend our celebration into Monday.
We started off Sunday with a small hunt for an Easter basket with a few goodies for the little man! He enjoyed his little toys-especially his choo choo. He opened his Easter package from Coach and Dede the day before and he loved it. Trucks are always a way to a little boys heart:).
He enjoyed this net once he figured out it was to catch bugs!!
We followed it up with an AMAZING worship service at church! I got to sit with one of my dear friends/college roommates which made it even better!
We had some new friends over for lunch and conversation. They have a sweet and happy 10 month old who was fun to play with. Jaxon enjoyed playing with him and was so sweet to share his trucks.
We attempted to take some pictures:). Trying to take pictures with our little man is quite challenging these days. But at least we tried!!!
Since it rained all afternoon we had to postpone our egg hunt until Monday. At least he is little and doesn't understand the difference between yesterday and today:). He was ready to go!!!
He really enjoyed hunting eggs and close to the end he kept saying and signing "more, more." He wasn't ready to be finished.
Several weeks ago, I found some of those confetti eggs. Mark informed me they are supposed to be cracked over the head--I didn't know that! Anyway, Jaxon tried it on Mark's head and then on himself. He loved it and then asked for more when it was finished.
He did a great job helping clean up...
although his curls caught most of the confetti!!
I LOVE the confetti in the curls, too!! How adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteAhh, cascarones! I introduced BJ and Dana and the family to these last year. They were a bit wary of them. :) Jaxon's curls with the confetti is priceless! Btw, yellow is your color - you look gorgeous in these pictures!
ReplyDeleteCute Family Pics!!!
