1 Month

Time flies when you are having fun!! This month has flown by and I cannot believe my sweet baby is already 1 month. It has been so fun and quite the learning experience. Here are a few things we have learned about you:

• You don't like to be swaddled unless you are in a deep sleep and don't know we are swaddling you:)!
• You let us know your lungs work when you are tired and ready for a nap
• You are a wiggly worm pretty much all the time--I'm wondering how it will be when you start crawling and walking.
  
• You are very strong. You hold your head up very well and rolled from your tummy to your back at 3 weeks (completely by accident but still). You also like to "stand" up on my lap.
  
• You like to suck on a pacifier or one of our fingers
• You like to listen to music
• You like to take baths as long as the water is warm (I don't blame you)
  
• You like to look at colorful pictures in books
• Sleeps 4-6 hours at a time each night
• You do not really like tummy time but will tolerate it for a short while
  
• You love to sleep which doesn't work very well when others want to see your big eyes.
• You love to be held!

You weigh 9lbs. 4oz. and are 22 inches long!

Words cannot express how much joy you have brought to our lives. We love you more than we can say. You have taught us so much in this short time and look forward to learning so much more from you and about you. You are a precious gift from God and we are thankful that He chose us to take care of you. We love you little man!!
