or 1 year!!!!

However you say it, you are growing up fast and way too fast for this momma and daddy! And getting busier by the day. You have been such a joy to have in our lives and we are crazy about you. You are such an entertainer and we love to laugh with you and at this things you do.This first year has taught us so much, but mostly that life with you is better. We look forward to many future years of life with you.

At 12 months you:

weigh 19 lbs. and are 30 inches long

• went to then dentist for the first time
• want to be down on the floor
• only like to be held at certain times (you make it known when you want down)
• have started bringing us things when we put out our hands
• get very sad when we take something away
• talk in this whisper gibberish
• walked around in the rain and loved it
• like to put smaller items into larger items (funny the things we find in our washing machine)
• clap your hands (but only when you want-not on command)
• put something over your face to play peek-a-boo
• said Momma & Bye Bye (but are not consistent)
• now have 7 teeth
• waved bye bye (again, only did it when you feel like it)
• signed "all done"
• had your first birthday party
• started putting things away when I sing the "clean-up" song
• take 2 naps
• sleep 11.5 to 12 hours a night
• wear 12 month clothes
• are always on the move
• love to talk to our next door neighbor's dog
