6 Months!

The past 2 months we have been gone on Jaxon's "monthly birthday" and I have had so much going on recently that it is just taking me a while to get caught up. 

We went to the doctor for your 6 month checkup and you are a growing boy!

You weigh 16 pounds 11 ounces and are 28 inches long.

You are getting so big and can do so much. You are growing up way to quickly. Please slow down!

At 6 months you:

have 2 teeth

can sit up unassisted (although sometimes you still topple over)

get up on all fours and rock back and forth, scoot a little, and pounce on things in front of you

have met a lot more of your extended family

survived your first Thanksgiving (we had lots of going back and forth between families-you were such a trooper)

nurse about 5 times a day

sleep 10 to 11 hours

take 3 naps (sometimes 4)

have started giggling a lot more

try to eat your feet at any chance you get (it makes for interesting diaper changes)

wear size 6 month clothing

love to play in your jumper

put EVERYTHING in your mouth

have started eating some solid foods-you are a mess!!!

don't like to be left alone in a room

love to lay on your changing table

are such a happy baby

We love you so much and consider it a joy to be your parents. We love to watch you grow and learn new things each day. I secretly wish you would stay a baby forever, but that is not the way God intended it. We thank Him daily for giving us the opportunity to raise you. You are a blessing and a joy to our lives. We love you mister!!
