weekend fun

This past weekend was one of the busiest we have had in a long time. It's amazing how it seems that everything falls on the same weekend and how much more we can add in:). We had a lot of fun though so the I can take the busy-ness every once in a while.
Our weekend started with this little cutie and his momma coming in for a visit!

It was our volunteer weekend at church so we were there Saturday night and all Sunday morning.  Several weeks ago we got tickets to see the butterflies at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. It was fun to see them flying ALL over. Jaxon wasn't very fond of them flying around his head and he really didn't like it when one landed on his head. But he got over it when he found the mini waterfalls and enjoyed watching it.

We enjoyed some time outside in the gardens enjoying the flowers and weather.

After a quick dinner at in and out, we decided to take the kite out for a fly.

After a full weekend we decided that the only thing we are planning for next weekend is to change Jaxon's bed into a toddler bed (yikes!) and have some friends for lunch. And relax!!!
