a sleeping baby boy!
Jaxon is usually really good about going to sleep when we lay him down. Recently he has decided that it is more fun to laugh and squeal for 30 minutes and then go to sleep. It was driving me crazy not being able to watch him so Mark did some research and got us a video monitor (that also takes pictures) that we can watch on the computer and on an iphone app! It has been so fun to watch him.
I always talk about how busy he is but this boy doesn't even stop in his sleep. Seriously, he sleeps ALL over his crib.
Jaxon woke up tonight after being asleep for about 2 hours. He very rarely does this (like only 3 times that I can remember) and after a few minutes of watching him, husband couldn't take it. He wanted to go hold him and as soon as he walked in the room, he could smell a dirty diaper. Husband changed him and then held him for a while. He tried to put him down after Jaxon fell asleep and got his arm stuck under the boy and then woke him up trying to get it out. I snapped a few shots of this action, but they didn't save:(. Then husband put him in the crib and "hid" on the floor. No fooling Jaxon. He stood up and held out his arm to him. I was sad my snapshots didn't save but glad I got to see it on the camera. It was hilarious!!

Love it!!! When Hannah was little bitty, we put her to bed one night in her crib, told her goodnight, and shut the door. Then we heard a knock on the inside of her bedroom door!! We looked at each other and peeked in her bedroom. There she stood! She wasn't even tall enough to reach the doorknob yet. So we put her back in her crib and stood by the door and said, "Come here, Hannah." She went to the end of her baby bed, grabbed hold of the end of it and threw her little leg up over the side rail. Then she slid across her tummy until she could grab the side rail with both hands. She hung there for a second and then dropped to the ground! We couldn't believe it!! So we went and got the video camera and had her do it again while we recorded it. Then we told her not to do it again. Like that was going to work. We were such rookies! We ended up wiring two of those old rail-runner trains to each end of the side rail where she would throw her leg over the side and that stopped it for a while. Pretty funny.
