6 months!

Half a year....seriously?!?! Such a bittersweet thing to watch you grow up. It is so fun to watch you grow and learn and to see your personality come out, but it brings me to tears often thinking about how fast this is going.

6 months

My sweet angel,

What pure joy you bring to our days!! Your smiles and sweet spirit are so inviting and we just cannot get enough of you. I am so thankful I get to be your momma and don't take for granted a day that I have with you. Oh, little miss, what big plans God has in store for you?!?! You are a blessing to our family!

You are full of personality and new things every day. You are half a year old. I can't wait to see what the next 6 months have in store! On your 6 month doctor visit, you weighed

12 pounds 12 ounces and are 25.5 inches long

You are up to so much these days:

you are so fun!

you have tried rice cereal, oatmeal, avocado, and sweet potatoes and really do not care for any of it

you sleep 12-12.5 hours a night!!!!

you are wearing a few 3 month but mostly 3-6 month clothing

you LOVE your big brother (and you like to pull his hair--all innocent)

you are a very happy baby

you sit up very well (although I like to put a pillow behind you just to be sure)

you are scooting yourself backwards 

you love to roll all over the place

you take 3 naps a day

you eat 5 (maybe 6) times a day

you love your toes

you are chewing on anything and everything and are a non-stop faucet of drool

you fall asleep so easily on your own (sometimes you talk yourself to sleep--so sweet)

you say "dadadadada" all the time

you light up anytime Jaxon is around--he loves to make you laugh

you love to play in your jumper and exersacuer

you like to sit in your bumbo and see everything that is going on around you

you really like the mirror

you like to turn in circles on your tummy
